I have heard so many unfortunate experiences of people who spent  $4,000, $5000, or $8,000 on a vehicle,  only to find out after a month or two, they cannot even drive it because of a  broken transmission or engine.  The worst part is that the estimated repairs to get it back on the road again are approximately $5,000 to $6,000, but they don’t have that much money left over after using all they had on their recent purchase.  I hate to see this  happening to mothers with children,  teenagers, or really anyone who is having to spend all the money they have saved on a vehicle, only to end up being stranded with one that doesn’t  work.

I have met so many people that are limited in how much they can spend on a car, and they are scared to take a risk buying a car in the price range they can afford without knowing the condition of the engine or transmission. Some people I have spoken to who bought a used car were not aware that the warning codes were cleared by the seller so the warning lights on the dashboard no longer lit up and they didn’t find out what the hidden mechanical problems were until 4 or 5 weeks later.
